Britten Sinfonia
Britten Sinfonia is an orchestra with a difference. Rather than being led by a principal conductor, it’s made up of outstanding individual musicians who come together as equals and make the important artistic decisions themselves, collectively and democratically. The results are electrifying. Rooted in the East of England, where it is the only professional orchestra working throughout the region, Britten Sinfonia also has a national and international reputation as one of the best ensembles playing today.
“Britten Sinfonia ought to enjoy national treasure status”
– The Telegraph, March 2023
